Dr. Neil Bradshaw

Dr Neil Bradshaw is Director of Enterprise at the University of Bristol, responsible for the development of education and training in enterprise and entrepreneurship, the protection of University IPR, the support and development of technology transfer through licensing and spinout, supporting early stage companies, and improving the University's enterprise relations with industry and Government. Dr Bradshaw also is a Director of the SETSquared Partnership and Chairman of UNICO. He has many years of experience of working at the interface between research and industry, including working in the scientific instrumentation industry and most recently as Director of Innovation and Technology at an economic development consultancy.
Dr. Malcom Cross

Dr Malcolm Cross is the Director of Research and Innovation Services at the University of Bath and a Director of the SETsquared Partnership. Prior to joining Bath University, he was the Director of Research and Innovation Services at Newcastle University where he was responsible for promoting research and technology transfer. He has worked in industry for more than 15 years in various technical and managerial roles developing new products and services.
Dr. Tony Raven

Dr Tony Raven is the Director of Research & Enterprise Services at Southampton University and is a Director of the SETsquared Partnership. He is a Director of Southampton Innovations, Southampton Asset Management, Nanotecture plc, and Treasurer of UNICO. He has fifteen years experience of start up company management and financing as well as extensive international commercial and regulatory experience, particularly in North America and Japan.
Mr. Keith Robson

Mr Keith Robson is a Director of the SETsquared Partnership and is responsible for the strategic direction of the University of Surrey's business creation centre, UniSdirect. Before joining the University of Surrey, Keith served as Director of Enterprise at Brunel University. Prior to that he had a career in the Electronic and Instrumentation Manufacturing sector, latterly in Managing Director roles. Mr Robson took one of his companies to a successful trade sale and set up his own spin out company in vision systems, which was later acquired by Sumitomo. During his time within the HEI sector, Mr Robson has been responsible for establishing a number of major Enterprise programmes and was founder Chairman of the WestFocus Consortium of seven London based universities. He also raised finance for early stage seed funds to support university start up companies.

Dr. Peter Hooper

Dr. Peter Hooper has been director of the University of Southampton’s Research Support Office since its establishment in 2003. In that time the office has developed from a two man operation to the current office of twelve, with an evolving remit covering advice on research funding, research contract review and negotiation, support for postgraduate research collaborations and input to research policy matters. Recent policy initiatives have included Conflicts of Interest, Research Governance, and Ethics. Before establishing RSO Peter held a number of senior posts at the University of Southampton including in marketing and industrial liaison (Southampton Oceanography Centre) and in technology transfer (Southampton Innovations Limited). He started his career, after completing a PhD in palaeoceanography, in marketing and commercial roles in the IT and publishing sector, before moving into business development, latterly as deputy managing director of UCL initiatives prior his move to Southampton. He has acted as a non-executive director or board member for a range of bodies, including an environmental technology spin-out and a regional marketing organisation. Outside work, his interests include nature conservation, mountain-running challenges and road-racing.
