The overall goal of this UK-government funded Science Bridge Program is to develop systemic links between the innovation communities of the Southern England region of the SETsquared Partnership (the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Southampton, and Surrey), and the Southern California region of UC Irvine and UC San Diego.

The program promotes this through two main types of activity: applied research collaboration, and the bridging of early stage technology businesses from one country to the other. This site gives details of both.
