Navigation La Jolla Cove

These webpages describe the background and activities of a two-year collaboration between Southern England and Southern California. In late 2005, the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Southampton, and Surrey, through their SETsquared Partnership, won a two-year, £1.5m Science Bridge Program award from the UK Office of Science and Technology (OST). The main objective of the 24-month program, launched in April 2006, is to create relationships of lasting value with commercial focus around the high-technology research and development clusters of Southern England with those in Southern California, for mutual benefit. The University of California, Irvine (UCI) and the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) are the US partners for the program. This is one of four Science Bridge Programs funded by the UK government http://www.egovmonitor.com/node/3396
