In 2006, the Global CONNECT Conference came to Canada for the first time. From December 6 to 8, the Annual Conference was held in Toronto, in partnership wtih the MaRS Discovery District. In addition to highlighting Toronto and the Province of Ontario, the Conference focused on best practice in regional business accelerators, and inter-regional collaborations. The principal goal of the Conference was to provide an effective forum for developing innovative programs to accelerate technology commercialization..

Global CONNECT gratefully thanks MaRS for their outstanding contributions to the success of this event, and to all of the sponsors for their generous support of this Conference::
